Region

Latin America & Caribbean

Latin America & the Caribbean were at the centre of IPC’s interest and work in the late 1980s and 1990s, when many development finance institutions and agencies stressed the importance of MSME finance as an instrument for successful financial sector development. Since then, financial sectors in most countries in the region have grown and deepened, becoming much more inclusive and competitive. Today, our particular focus in this region lies on green and climate finance activities.
